Let me guide you over two magnificent towns in only 4 hours. I’ll show you the historic old town in Buda and the modern architecture of Pest. Let me tell you about the capital’s 2000 and about the country’s 1000 years of history. I’ll explain why Budapest is a beautiful mixture of different cultures, architectures and arts. You’ll have an amazing view from the top of the Castle and Gellért hills.
I’ll meet you at your hotel and we will drive along the Andrássy avenue, so that you can admire the most amazing palaces of Budapest’s Champs Elysées. I’ll first take you to the monumental Heroes square. We’ll then walk around the City Park to see the Széchenyi bathhouse and the Vajdahunyad castle. We’ll visit the State Opera House. I’ll show you the St. Stephen’s Basilica and can also show you the most amazing view over the Pest side from around the dome of the Basilica (96m high). We’ll cross the Danube river and we’ll continue in Buda. I’ll show you around the old cobblestoned streets of the Castle District. We’ll visit the imperial Castle Garden Bazaar, the Royal Palace, the Matthias church and the Fisherman’s Bastion.
Our last stop is on the top of the Gellért hill. I’m sure you’ll therefore enjoy the magnificent view from the top of the hill all over our beautiful city.
