Découvrez Budapest au cours d’une visite à pied d’une journée complète pour en avoir un bon aperçu. Je vous présenterai l’histoire de ma ville, son architecture, sa culture et bien plus encore. Je vais vous montrer toutes les attractions principales et les trésors cachés de la ville que j’adore.
Nous commençons la découverte de la ville et celle de l’histoire du pays à la place des Héros. Nous prenons une promenade agréable dans le Bois de Ville, où je vous montre le petit château et les célèbres bains Széchenyi. Nous marchons au long de l’avenue Andrássy pour jeter un coup d’œil à l’Opéra d’État richement décoré.
Nous continuons au quartier juif où nous visitons le triangle des synagogues y comprenant la Grande Synagogue. Nous apprécions l’atmosphère unique des petites rues pavées et des cours cachées du quartier.
Je vous montre la Basilique Saint-Etienne. Nous pouvons gravir les 370 marches de l’escalier ou bien prendre l’ascenseur de l’église pour admirer un panorama unique du côté Pest.
Nous marchons autour de la place de la Liberté avec de beaux bâtiments Art Nouveau, une place pleine de symbolisme. Je vous montre et vous raconte du monumental édifice néo-gothique du Parlement, l’édifice le plus cher qui n’a jamais été construit en Hongrie. La visite se poursuit par une courte balade sur la belle Promenade du Danube.
Nous traversons le Danube sur le pont des Chaînes et continuons notre balade à Buda. Je vous montre autour des vieilles rues pavées du quartier du château, du noyau historique de Buda. Nous visitons le Palais Royal, l’église Mathias et le Bastion des Pêcheurs. Nous montons dans des tours du Bastion pour profiter de la vue magnifique de la ville.

My husband and I spent a wonderful, informative day with Julia. Her historical knowledge was excellent and her personal stories added a deep layer of richness to our experience. Julia was a delight, she was easy going and completely tuned into how we were feeling, moving at the exact right pace.
Julia was a wonderful tour guide for the 5 of us in Budapest. Julia was highly knowledgable about the city’s history and the people. She knew many “secretive” things that we would have never found on our own. We walked, and took public transportation. This was a great way to see the city. Made you feel like a local. Julia was easy going, and listened to our wants and needs also. It was a very cold day and we all needed something hot to drink and it was not a problem to sit down for a moment, warm up and taste a local treat! We highly recommend Julia. My wife and I toured Budapest with Julia by four hour walking tours on two consecutive days. We are seasoned travelers and have utilized private guides on many occasions. That said, Julia is one of the best guides that we have hired! We very much enjoyed Budapest because of Julia.
