It\u2019s wonderful to see how many people are curious about my country and eager to experience its culture, history, and everyday life. Tourism brings energy, jobs, and opportunities\u2014and for that, I\u2019m truly grateful.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"1039\">At the same time, the growing number of visitors can feel overwhelming. Some parts of the city are under constant pressure, and local life is slowly being pushed aside. Sustainable tourism is about finding a balance: creating meaningful experiences for travellers while preserving the city as a liveable place for those who call it home.<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1080\">Small choices make a big difference<\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1202\">If you\u2019d like your visit to Budapest to be enjoyable, authentic, and respectful, here are a few ideas worth considering:<\/p>\r\n<ul data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1984\">\r\n<li data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1364\">\r\n<p data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1364\"><strong data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1235\">Support local businesses.<\/strong> Choose locally owned caf\u00e9s and restaurants, buy from small artisans, and consider hiring a local guide who truly knows the city.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1573\">\r\n<p data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1573\"><strong data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1406\">Walk and use <a href=\"https:\/\/lovefromhungary.com\/public-transportation-in-budapest\/\">public transportation<\/a>.<\/strong> Budapest is a walkable city, and its public transport system is excellent.
