It marks the founding of the Hungarian state by Saint Stephen \u2014 and it\u2019s also the day when the country celebrates its love of pastry in a very special way.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1027\">A Sweet National Tradition<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1029\" data-end=\"1194\">The Cake of the Country is selected by a professional jury of master confectioners.
